This is a really simple lip to achieve. I don’t recommend this lip for going out just because its really high maintenance, its more for photo shoots and editorial work. Its still simple enough that anyone can do it. Now you can use what ever colors you’d like, just make sure they’re very different from each other. Start with your first color (i chose white) and place this all over your lips focusing on the center, then your gonna set that color with a translucent powder, this will ensure your colors wont meld together. Next pucker up as tight as you can, keep your lips like this while applying the second color.
Apply a small amount of color to your lip brush (this will ensure the color wont seep into the cracks your creating with your pucker) lay the brush flat against your lips and begin applying all over. Now relax your lips, your should be able to see the cracks. Finish by outlining your lips to clean it up and that’s it! Easy right? This only took me like 5 minutes to do and if you really take your time it should be no problem to get your lips just like the picture above. I hope this was helpful and please check out my other blogs for more tutorials :) -dee
Drink lots of water.
Winter air is dry, and therefor your body becomes dry in the winter too. Hence all the itchy dry skin and chapped lips.
Staying hydrated will definitely keep your lips soft and smooth.
As far as chapstick goes, personally I find Carmex and Burt’s Bees to work the best.
If you’re not a fan of chapstick, and need something to help repair your lips while you rehydrate, I’ve found something pretty fantastic.

Sugar Lip Scrubs by Lush Cosmetics.
It’s basically this fancy sugar stuff that you scoop out with your finger and rub into your lips. You lick it off and it leaves your lips feeling perfectly soft.
I got a little jar of the Sweet Lips flavor as a Christmas present and I absolutely love it. It really works.
You should check out some of Lush’s other stuff, they have a lot of great handmade cosmetics.
